“ I followed the below review of the guy who said he walked 10 mins just to eat here. And he was right, I didnt regret it at all. It was 8pm, we walked a lil bit from Homedepot to here for dinner and this is the best choice that we ever made. Its worth the fame that people giving it on google maps (really!!) Good: The guys are very friendly, and they welcomed us with a smile, which makes us feel good already about the place. Everything was quick and clean, they even offer us to take the picture (maybe because they saw me took picture of it) When I was home, the box was filled. But the best thing is it was filled with meat. These guys are really generous with their meat amount, there are extra fries also. And the veggies are balanced in the sides. The meat is tender, nicely seasoned, even the lamb- you barely feel the usual stink. For the portion of meat that you ger, 9 is not too expensive (and its located in Mahattan). I will surely come back for their others dishes Bad: Maybe there are little sauce for my hungry stomach- I wish I asked more about the sauce because its very balancing and add a great moist into the dry dishes. This is from my side, but I wish they asked You will be charged high extra fee for using cards- please be aware of this, I think they should put the fee in the payment method for customer awareness. Still, its not their fault at all. ”

We also tried Adel's and waited in the long line to get it, and while it was good, it wasn't quite as good as Mido's, it just didn't hit the same way. In our 5 day trip, we got Mido's four times. Don't get the red sauce unless you can handle a LOT of spice or maybe consider getting it on the side. ”
“ Possibly the best Cart in NY! Fresh, and delicious is the name of the game here. Top notch,QUALITY food. With the amount of Halal carts from which I have consumed food, I can comfortably say that I'm an expert in this category. From the hype days of 53rd and sixth, to Sammy's, and now Adel's. BUT in my humble opinion, Mido's tops them all. The food is QUALITY! Deliciously spiced chicken and Gyro. Done to perfection. The veggies, fresh and crisp, and the rice! Wow! The most delicious yellow rice I've ever had. EVER! The spicy rice isn't spicy per say, but more of a "spiced" rice. It has just a hint of sweetness to it as well. Cinnamon maybe? It's DELICIOUS! The lamb is softer than the big chewy pieces from the other carts. It melts in your mouth, and the chucken is perftly juicy and delicious. The white sauce is awesome, and the hot sauce, HOT! The fries are the battered kind, perfectly crisp. This cart is So slept on. When I went, there was no line. I ordered and waited about 10 minutes for them to make the food. Loved knowing it was put on the grill fresh. The guys working were so nice, and kind! The service for me, goes a long way. Especially since we drive over an hour from Flushing. Passing many other places just for Mido's food. It's SO worth it in my opinion. The combo over rice is 9, and the pita sandwich is 8. The sandwich was fighting for its life to close lol. We ate the sandwich before we had a chance to take a pic lol. This is the place that deserves the hype of the other carts. Will I be sad waiting in line? Sure. But with what this cart has, I will be back and wait. SO worth the drive for this gem! Keep up the good work guys. PS. PLEASE open up a cart in Queens. Sunnyside, Woodside, Flushing ”

“ Wonderful gentlemen cooking fabulous food! Got chicken over rice, they hooked it up with lots of veggies and fries. Great portion and excellent sauces. Possibly the best falafel of any cart too, cooked fresh to order. ”

“ Mido's Halal was a fantastic experience. I'm usually picky about my chicken/ lamb rice platter, and this place did not disappoint. The meats were flavorful and so was the rice. The quality and quantity of food was excellent. I used to be a loyal fan of Adel's Halal, but those lines are awful. This is an excellent alternative. ”
